Coastal Woman

Time has no boundaries with you my dear
Girls in the south don’t know what we have here
All this devotion even our waters run clearer
Should we stay true it can last forever
We still have life as ancient trees reside
We still have rivers that lead to the sea life

By ease of a mountain all travels remembered
The ocean is now one for the world
now that we have gathered
What is done is felt in other lands
The best water is kept in the Northern region
even the ice caps contain pollution

When ancient trees die their is still continuation
Falling to the forest floor nourishing the soil
the salmon journey up stream to give life
nutrients carried to the tips of the tree tops by root
of this underground irrigation system
washing up on riverbed wildlife will depend upon

The rare salmon supplies, bears, wolves or cougars
eagles seals and whales cannot hide.
Changing their time to compensate for our lives
What will we leave when we pass, pollution?
In the air, on the water, in the land, minus trees
Since all are eliminated for the development state

Mountains regions, rock bases, our safest last places.
feeding the land much like the forest, salmon and lakes
we once had devotion even our waters were clearer
I hope you are safely contained in subdivisions
Time has no boundaries with you my dear
Girls in the south will realize what we had here
